nbadraft.net recent projection for 2017. Many surprises. The first 17 that may be drafted per this mock list are 16 freshmen from college and only one International player. So with so many freshmen listed you might think , well mostly Kentucky's players. ?? Answer: is NO!!! Only two Kentucky players are listed in the entire draft. The first 7 players listed in the draft are not even playing for Kentucky. There are no seniors listed in the first round and few in the second round. The majority of players that may be drafted are freshmen, but from other schools other than Kentucky. Staying till the junior or senior year seems to get college players little to nothing from the NBA....per this year's Mock NBA draft list.

Why would you expect "mostly Kentucky players?" Lol. They only start five players like everyone else haha how many do you think they could actually have.

Results from a search of "d league basketball salary"
All-time high 87 NBA players, including 15 2016 1st-round NBA Draft picks, have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Salaries remain flat: $25,500, $19,000 and $13,000 for the league's three player classifications, which means D-League players are virtually playing for free -- and a modest per diem on the road of $40 compared to $120 in the NBA -- although they do receive housing and insurance benefits.
