Macura Macura Macura Macura
Macura 's play throughout the game, his shot before half time, his assists, his passing, his rebounding, his hustle, etc was the difference. Yes, it was a great TEAM effort overall. But Macura was the key factor which turned a close game into a win. Yes, he had plenty of help from team members. But Macura's play was the key factor in this win over DePaul. Macura was a BEAST in turning this game around to a win. I love his overall game!!!

Yeah, macura is definitely one of those guys you take the good with the bad and at the end of the day you love having him on your team.
He plays his butt off every game. His passes last night were incredible, and he's a very good shooter when he takes the correct shot. He tends to get over confident occasionally and jack up crazy shots and also can be one of our worst turnover offenders.
Great game last night. Glad he's a Muskie.

JP and his "all in" style of play represents, to me, why college basketball is so enjoyable to watch. The pros are so skilled that their excellence is predictable. With JP and others like him, there are those unexpected brilliant plays and exceptional off-the-wall moments that make the college game so great. We have to cherish the time we have him and (hopefully) others like him in the future.

In NYC, at game 4th row mid court. ( after Johnnie fans vacated!!). Yes Macura was our savior. But big Sean had an ugly at times but effective 1st half. O'Mara was the quiet hero who kept us from totally flatlining first twenty minutes. Need A+ gm from all tonight. Anyone hear if Jones might play??

Win the last 2:30
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Agree with all of this. If JP was more disciplined with his shot selection, he would shoot 40% or better from 3. However, X really can't afford for him to play without risk anymore. He and Blueitt need to create more offense than normal, due to the loss of ES. If not for an unbelievable night of shooting by Creighton, X would be playing Nova for the championship, primarily due to JP and Tre.lionelchalmers0 wrote:Yeah, macura is definitely one of those guys you take the good with the bad and at the end of the day you love having him on your team.
