It's come down to this?!?!?!
A must win against Depaul to keep any hope of making the tourney. And the worst part is, I don't know if they can do it. Worrying about DePaul
What on earth is going on here????? How the mighty have fallen.

The real intrigue is how many folks will be there.

I live here. Went last year. There might have been 2000 people there. I thought Xavier would have brought a much bigger crowd but, getting to Rosemont is difficult from most area's in and around the city. Not able to make it this year, and wasn't going to put much effort into it in light of the effort I've seen from the team lately. As far as the move for depaul, anything is better than Rosemont. The thing about Depaul is they are a couple of stud local recruits away from filling up wherever they play. It happened back in the late 90's for a couple years, could happen again. They just need a coach who can make it happen. That is unlikely until they get rid of the current AD.thecoach wrote:The real intrigue is how many folks will be there.

My wife and I will be! We were engaged and attended the first game at the then "Rosemont Horizon" when DePaul hosted Gonzaga, led by John Stockton. Now, we will see X play in the "Allstate Arena's" final DePaul home contest.thecoach wrote:The real intrigue is how many folks will be there.

Go Musketeers!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Thanks ... it was nice (could one say imperative?) that X earned the W today.
We sat in our regular seats in the first half, which are amongst parents of players and across the aisle from the coaching staff''s family members and friends. They scratched their heads at our attire today, yet we still had nice conversations. Out of courtesy to them, and so that we could cheer without restraint, we decided to move into the area where X fans were seated.
Now, let's hope X repeats today's success on Wednesday evening. Go Muskies!
