Watson Out

Watson did tear his ACL Out for the season. Tough break for Creighton but they played well without him yesterday. Will be interesting to see how they play going forward.

I wonder if McDermott regrets having put him back in the game?

What a shame. Kid had a real chance at the NBA, and even being a 1st rounder. Going to be a much tougher road now. From all accounts a terrific teammate and representative for the university too. Hate to see this happen to anyone, but especially to someone that has earned respect from his school and the opposition.

We sit directly across from the visiting team's bench. When Watson went in and took the inbounds pass, I could see his leg was not 100%.
Doctor sitting behind me said "He shouldn't be back in there!"
He probably was already injured, but playing on it only made it worse.
Terrible reminder that these great young athletes futures hang by a thread if an injury happens!
