Free Throw Practice

I suggest that since this team runs no offense, that they spend every practice til Saturday shooting free throws. Learn to focus on them and grasp their importance since those have cost X the last two games. Horrible.

Agreed. This late in the season. Missing 14 from the stripe at home? No excuse. Gaston had a good game, but those four straight misses killed X. Sumner and Macura too

They just run offenses that are so easy to guard. Part of it is their lack of inside game and the other is that the offensive sets are just poor. If X lost Sumner like they lost their best player, Creighton wins by 20. Defensive adjustments against good teams (remember X has only played 3 good teams), have been non-existent.

What about Baylor?

Yes good call. They have played four good teams this year. in each game they failed miserably in the second half (not quite as bad today).

Thank you Shadow. As usual, you and I are on the same page. I'd also include Utah. I see them as a10-11 seed this year.

I'm not sure extended ft practice helps. I practice 3' putts endlessly and still miss many :D . Our 3 best players are just ok at the line and the others are just bad ft shooters.

I suggest that people that think just practicing ft will solve the problem go to a practice. They might learn something.

believe me I am just as frustrated as everyone else but when JP, Tre miss FTs it just seems to cascade

I agree they are psyching themselves out and their misses seem to get to them.\
