The article makes sense as our best win is a neutral site victory over Clemson. Almost makes tomorrow's Creighton game a must win.

Let me try this one more time. The article is by Matt Norlander and he goes on to make a point we have the weakest resume for a top team.

Yet we are 16 in RPI and 20 in SOS. The article is just one man's opinion, and a sports writer's opinion at that.

It's Jan 15th.
8 weeks from today is Selection Sunday.
If X's best win is still Clemson, then we should be worried.
Still have Creighton tomorrow - 3rd straight game against a team ranked in the top 12.
Home games against Nova and Butler.
At UC.
Plus Marquette is 35th in KenPom ratings so a win against them would be good.
And Seton Hall and Gtown are just outside the top 50.
Got to win at home tomorrow.

so much for that win. I think the bigger issue isn't losing to a top 10 team at home but losing to a top 10 team at home when their best player gets hurt. If X were really that good, they would have dominated after that. X can easily play their way to tournament but zero quality wins today and frankly, they are just not as good as Creighton, Nova, and likely Seton Hall. I think they beat Butler at home but thats the only game i see against top tier team. I see them losing to UC as well. The Miles Davis infusion is not working. I realize you have to play him to get him back where he was but he struggles on both sides of the floor. Heck even missed 2 FTs today.

I think X pulls it together. That said, they need to check thu he mentally. Free throws and turnovers killed them today ( and the TOs were self inflicted). Should not happen at home.

Macura played well on defense and he caused a few big turnovers. But on the offensive end in crunchtime is not getting the ball enough he is their best 3 pt weapon on this team and to not get it to him is just sad. Just no excuse losing to this team without their top pg Watson.

I'm disgusted today been awhile since i have been so disappointed in this team. But 8 weeks left and I will never forget our first elite 8 run.We were like 12-11 at one point. So hopefully these 3 games are the wake up call these players need.

This team is a mess. No real game plan on offense and too many turnovers. There seems to be no fight in this team, and we haven't hit a big shot when it mattered in a while.

No go to player really hurts this team. Add to that we have no leadership whatsoever. Looks to me like a bunch of individuals trying to play a team sport. I wonder what the chemistry is like?
