Will ??
Will Myles be the Myles we saw last year? Do you think he will get there? Or do you think all the drama and strain on him has hurt him to the point he's lost some of his mojo? Obviously we don't know but what's your best guess.

Re: Will ??
To date he has hurt, not helped the team. I have noted Mack has put Gooden in for defense and Myles hasn't added any offense.. Should we keep giving him significant minutes to get him in game shape if he is hurting the team???

Everyone needs to remember that he has had very little PRACTICE time too, and with the schedule being what it is there hasn't been much time to get any practice for him. The main opportunity he has had to work with the team has been during games. I suspect that he will show great improvement from where he is now by the time February-March comes along, but that will only come about with practice and playing time. I also suspect that his improvement will result in the team also improving. It may be hurting the team NOW, it should pay off in the long run come tournament time.

I agree. I think Mack knows that Xavier's ability to make a deep run in the tournament depends on Myles returning to form and the only way that is going to happen is to play him into shape.kyzrex wrote:Yeshoosiermuskie wrote:To date he has hurt, not helped the team. Re: Will ??
Coupled with little practice time, his 1st 2 games back are road games against the #3 and #12 teams in the country. Still have to believe that Myles will be a valuable contributor as the season progresses. Too good of a player not too.kyzrex wrote:Yeshoosiermuskie wrote:To date he has hurt, not helped the team. Oh yea..at the very least, Myles should help X improve their FT % since he has a career average of 83%.
