There are currently 351 Division 1 men's college basketball teams. Xavier's ranking is currently: 253rd in 3 point shooting, yes 253! 142nd in points scored....not top 25. 128th in FG percentage made. 54th in rebounding...wow if only rebounding decided the winner..jk jk. Do not keep shooting the 3 pt shot ...sooo much.....unless you can improve the percentage made???????

Wow,
With all the data coaches look at today, it's even more perplexing that there were zero adjustments on the game plan. I can't believe he will make no adjustments in the future however.
I believe we shot about 30 treys against CO and Baylor as well. CM is a great recruiter and runs great out of bounds plays. However, I think he would greatly benefit from an experienced Co-Asst HC, to help him with in game adjustments, and implementation of more than 2 defensive schemes. Wright employed about 7 last night.
A good analogy is when Mman and I play at different venues with our Who's on 1st bit. Initially Mman thought he could do it alone, as he wanted to keep the $40 for himself.
However, he soon realized it was much more effective with two, rather than one. What has been the result you ask?
We're getting inundated by assisted living centers and community church groups, and offers to perform at other high valued venues. I may bring this up to CM during the weekly lunch he, Mman, and I have at Quatmans.

when you break down the one main thing (besides the jacking up of 3's), it really comes down to turnovers. we had 14. let's do some math here. let's say we cut out 6 of those. that's 6 possessions where we have a chance to score. let's say we score on 4 out of those 6 possessions. 3 2's and one 3 gives us 9 more points.
let's also say that those 6 turnovers probably led to around 8 points for Nova (some turnovers ended up as easy 2 on 1 layups).
that's 9 more points for us. 8 less points for them. that's a +17 difference. game score goes from 79-54 to 71-63. much more respectable looking and game flow probably goes WAY different when you change just a couple turnovers.
either way, just a little math (with some assumptions added in) to see how much turnovers affect a game.

One of the things I like about our skit is AH is so willing to give me $40 on top of the fee for the job, he still thinks we do the gig gratis so don't anyone tell him anything different. As for the person that reads these posts to AH at the home his family committed, I mean, place him in please just tell him his fee has increased to $100 payable to me and we will negotiate their cut.Anti-Homer wrote:Wow,

I wonder if sky or AH listened in on the coaches during the game or were they pigging out at the fridge again.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

The percentage of "made" shots from the 3s or free throw line appear to be getting worse. Teams are going to back off and let X shoot the 3s as long as they continue to miss at a high rate. And teams will have "no fear" to foul X during the game or at the end of a game because ..so far, X cannot make free throws at an efficient rate/percentage. Missing the front end of one and ones is also too high. X could have won many of their losses, if they had just "made" a few more critical baskets. Poor scoring is killing X.

With all those numbers being what they are, it makes me wonder how in the world have we won 13 games. Seems ODD. Go Xavier!

I heard we're somewhere around 160 or d
so on FT%.UC is actually 100 spots worse. Shootout could be interesting if it comes down to foul shooting
