Colorado Concerns

Hi All - Xavier alum heading to the Colorado game tomorrow. As someone that lives in altitude in Utah I am concerned that the team is landing in CO today. It takes a few days to acclimate to the altitude. With a shorter bench and altitude impact i could see us wearing down in the 2nd half. I would press us early and often to wear down Ed and JP. I think we pull it out but will be very tough. Hope to see lots of Muskie faithful at the pregame!

Go X!!!

My thoughts also. It always slowed me down for a couple days.

I'm more worried about our outside shooting and lack of offense from our bigs. It is time for Kaiser to step up especially on the defensive end.

Lot of worries about this game and the air is a concern. This is a tough stretch of games this week particularly back to back on the road.

Help me out.
With two games in the west this week, does the team return to Cincy in between? To me it would seem to be make sense to stay at altitude for the Utah game and a lost less tiring.

I thing our bench is a bit longer now than at the beginning of the season. While that fact will not increase the amount of oxygen in the air, it will allow a bit more flexibility by the coaching staff, especially down low with four big guys now available.

I know a guy who, as a grampa, carried his year-old grandson on his back up a fairly steeply elevated mountain path on a hike that took in about 2-3 miles. He survived. (So did the grampa!)

OOPS! Head in a dark place checking on the results of last colonoscopy. Spent much time in the western states the past 13 years. Should have checked the schedule.
