record is now 7-2...2 straight losses. Field Goal % team ranking went from 157th to 200th best in shots made. X's team 3 point % scoring went from 265th to 284th best. As i have said many many many times....recruit scorers, not shooters.....anyone can shoot a ball, but few can make most of their shots.

Read an article on Friday Dec 9th about the struggling teams within the top 25....for Xavier the article said Xavier is struggling shooting. LOL LOL LOL Again, Xavier has no problem "shooting" the ball....X's problem is "scoring" at a high percentage. Do not understand why people cannot use the right "word". There is a difference between shooting and scoring. The teams are defined by their ability to make FGs...not just shoot. Every team shoots the ball at 100% no matter how many times the ball goes up, but FGs made percent is all over the place.

In my mind when I hear or read "shooting" I automatically associate it with scoring....but that's just me!!

I think of whether it was on the westside or the southside but that's the Chicago in me.
