My humble take on 2016

Looking at the roster we have - The Known - Tre,Ed,J.P. and hopefully each we improve their total numbers from last year. Semi known - Kaiser (and I hope he can back strong after surgery) and some posters see him having a breakout year - Sean - he will be a very important player and must improve on his 7 minutes a game and his 3 pts and 3 rebounds a game. Biggest question marks - can Malcoln,Tyrique, and Gaston match (or at least come close to) Remy,Farr, and Reynolds production. Finally, will Myles be back (at least in the 2nd semester) because he is obviously an important part of the team. Any thoughts! Go Xavier!

Those are very productive numbers considering the limited minutes. Sean O' was the best low post scorer last year, and I expect him to be effective again this year. He needs to minimize his traveling, but is a very crafty near the hoop. My concern is his defense. He will struggle against quicker bigs, and I fear will often be in foul trouble. Also, I hope CM does not have him hedging 40 feet from the hoop as he did with Stain & Frease. Recipe for disaster.

Some thought that about Stainbrook, Farr, Jalen and about every big man we have had and they seemed to adjust as I expect Sean will also. In the words of someone much greater than us; "Be not afraid"

Oh...and what game was that? At Seton Hall? Sean picked up 4 fouls in about 12 seconds. We don't need that.

GEEZ I forgot about Goodin. He will be an upgrade over Austin. I think he can see a lot of productive minutes until Myles gets back (if he comes back) and will grow as the season progresses. Go Xavier!
