It appears that Keith Wilkes has trimmed his list to 3 teams, UCLA, Indiana and Illinois. It would have been great to see him as a Muskie.

Wouldve been cool, but it doesnt diminish our class in any way. Continue to build our program, and the 5 stars will come. Only a matter of time.

I just hope that Scruggs is not next to go because he is in California playing with Trent Jr. and could be easily swayed to a school out there. Recruiting is getting like politics - nasty. But, in the end XU will be fine. Go Xavier!

I had been reading some of Wilkes' tweets and to me he came across as a wannabe prima donna. He'll jumps as soon as he can.

I was just thinking (pure conjecture) that Trent Sr. could have a big payday if he could get Trent Jr., Jackson, and Wilkes (possibly Scruggs) all to go a California school like UCLA or USC. Young men can be hoodwinked into such a thing. Again, just saying. Go Xavier!

From a distance, it has seemed to me that Wilkes has been playing games for quite some time: adding and subtracting teams; sending mixed messages; and playing this out as long as possible. It seems he wants to milk this recruiting fight over him as long as possible, making him look very narcissistic. He might be a great kid, but I would be worried if he did commit here. I am getting the same feeling about Scruggs. I hope we get a commit from Sterling Manley and wrap up an outstanding recruiting class of kids who want to be here.

I think we need a PG too.

Trent is only considering 1 school out West. Not sure UCLA has even recruited Scruggs, so a Trent/Scruggs combo in college would be a shock.

Scruggs tweet yesterday (10/10) makes it sound like his decision will come soon. If you read the responses to his tweet, they are all about him coming to Xavier... even an IU fan commented as such.

Yeah one quick note about the crystal ball is he has an upcoming visit to UNC, so as I understand it a lot of people will change their prediction before the visit just in case he commits. I think XU is very much in the mix with Manley.
