Just off twitter, we just made final five with a certain Five star out of Indy. UConn, Indiana, Illinois and UCLA are the other four.

Nice to see goodbye to Beaknose, Arizona, Butler, Washington, Michigan and North Carolina. Perhaps the biggest dividend from Big East. I hope Scruggs commits and then makes the final pitch to his Indy buddy.

Couldn't get past the link without paying for a subscription, MM what was the jist of the story?

Doesn't say a lot except he has had a long good relationship with IU and X ..Looks like Iu and UCLA are the favorites.

Dont forget the goodbye to Thad as well. Have been reading on this guy in various forums for a while now. IU feels they have him. We dont appear to be dead yet though. UCONN appears to only be in it due to his respect for Ollie so I am not worries about them. I hope WHEN we get Scruggs, we increase our chances at the Indy sweep up.

I read that Wilkes and Scruggs are friends and played on the same AAU team. Don't want to jinx it but is there a possibility of a 2fer?

Xavier also has been involved with Wilkes for several years. Indiana and Xavier also are in the mix for Southport guard Paul Scruggs, a close friend and travel teammate of Wilkes.

I listened to an interview with KW and to summarize he basically said that hes intrigued by the idea of playing with PS in college, but at the end of the day hes going to do whats best for him and PS will do the same. By no means do I think playing with PS is one of the biggest deciding factors in his decision, but considering that I've been hearing that we are in a dead heat with IU for KW, it could be a little bump that gives us the advantage in the end. Id have to imagine playing alongside a PG that he knows and trusts would be a comforting idea for a kid whos looking to spend only a year or two in college. I guess Id say whatever school that gets PS will have a slight advantage with KW in that department but by no means is this a 2fer where they are making their decision together.
