Scruggs-4 star guard on campus next week.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

He will commit this weekend. Samuels would be the real get.

there is one Indiana guy out there that I would love to get but it is a long shot even though he has X on his list. Get him and these other and it could be the best class ever. Will not give name as to not jinx it but his last name begins with a W You Indy boys know who I am talking about

Mm I know who you are talking about. Do you know anything about Jaren Jackson 6'10" center from Park Tudor in Indy? I know we were interested at one time. Have we offered?muskieman wrote:there is one Indiana guy out there that I would love to get but it is a long shot even though he has X on his list. I did a little research after posting this. It looks like we have offered but he has "low interest". Ranked #22 by scouts

If my memory serves me correctly, getting the "W-guy" would be our very first 5-star player recruited successfully as a Freshman. We did get a transfer from a Big 12 school who was a 5-star when he was coming out of high school. but even if we don't get "W", we could still get a top-5 recruiting class if we nail Scruggs. another 4-star forward (like Samuels or Eastern) and/or a speedy 4-star center like Malik Williams or Ejike Obinna. If we get a total of 6 recruits from among those or the other player mentioned in this thread, we could actually have the #1 class of 2017!muskieman wrote:there is one Indiana guy out there that I would love to get but it is a long shot even though he has X on his list. I'd suspect that we will remain on the list at least until he's made his official visit to our campus. Given the fantastic job that the Xavier staff has been doing over the last couple of years with recruiting, I am not worried. We are among "the Big Boys" now. We have top-shelf facilities, a current top-shelf roster, and a coaching staff that is appealing to the young men bring recruited to top programs.muskieman wrote:he just cut his list and X is still on it but the list still has 10 other schools
Even if Paul Scruggs chooses to go elsewhere (which is NOT a foregone conclusion), I have faith that our roster will easily compete with the others at the "top of the heap" among the elite in NCAA Division I basketball.
GO MUSKIES!!!

Mnick I like the way you think and I like your enthusiasm. The Power of positive thinking. Life will go on without any of these guys because the coaches will make it happenmuskienick wrote:I'd suspect that we will remain on the list at least until he's made his official visit to our campus.
