Did he have a cold, or was he on his death bed? After reading this, I'm surprised BRob hasn't been hooked up to an IV and quarantined at University Hospital.

Re: Excuses, Excuses, Excuses
Gregory said Roberts has had "flu like symptoms for the better part of a month" I've never heard anyone being sick like that for a month. The flu is 1-2 weeks tops.
While I'll take the W, I felt like the game was not as fun since it was over before it even started.

I don't even understand how they could print something like that. He needed to write an article about how someone else for ud needed to step up, and maybe use Roberts being under the weather has a reason, but he didn't need an entire excuse piece. I just wasted 2 minutes of my life reading that, and I would really like them back.

They make it sound like Dayton only has 3 scholorship players. What happened to all of these great recruits that they keep bragging about every year. Dayton was minus one starter and their first player off the bench.

I don't remember relying on excuses when Brian Thorton was hurt and ultimately went down for the season. Injuries happen. Good teams figure it out.
Grow up UD fans and take it like a man.

In all fairness, how would we play without Brown and Duncan? I hate UD as much as anyone, but they came to a gunfight with a rubber knife. They are in big trouble, because it sounds like they are both out for the season. Good for us maybe , but bad for the league.

Agree coach but I'd like to think we would not whine about it. We have had critical injuries also and we rose to the occasion.
Anyone remember Brian Thorton? How'd that turn out for us.

As I recall Dayton fans didn't diminish their wins over injured Pitt and Louisville, so they are obviously smart enough to face the facts in this game.

Coach, we would put BJ Raymond in the starting lineup and use Dante' and Graves more. We would win by 13 instead of 26. Next question?
