That and L'ville -2.5 are the ones that stick out.

I liked our chances before hearing this, now I like em even more. Wonder if the Hammer has a thought on this? haha

If you don't like the point spread, blame it on the Sagarin computerized ranking system, because that's exactly where it come from--specifically, from the PREDICTOR column. The exact same thing is true for Louisville-Tennessee.

Do the arithmetic and you'll get exactly the published point spreads. The RPI has Xavier ahead of WVU, but Sagarin's Predictor has WVU ahead. WVU has a much better record vs. Sagarin (not RPI) 50 than does Xavier.

Do you not see, in the predictor column (far righthand side of the grid), that WVU is rated two points higher than Xavier?

I don't care what the spread is because Xavier will not lose to WVU for 5 reasons: 1. Xavier has better players, 2. Xavier has a better coach, 3. Xavier shoots the ball better, 4. Xavier rebounds better and 5. Xavier plays better defense. Xavier 79 WVU 64.
