I think I'd have to go with CJ, as he's given us inside scoring, he's draining his FTs, and he's made big baskets.

But then I think that maybe it's JD, who's given us inside and outside scoring, and continues to show a toughness we didn't think was there in previous years.

And then I think maybe it's Drew, who, even if not 100% healthy, still is the glue that holds this club together.

Toss in Brown, Love, Raymond, Burrell and Jackson, and you've got a true team effort, with not one star, but a bunch of stars.

Unsung hero is Brown. He is making some big plays and he has played great on the inside. His D isn't always there but then I am comparing him to JD and SB.

Raymond has been inconsistent from the three but he made a big three the old fashioned way when we needed it most.

The MVPlayer is tough the MVPerson is a little easier. Sean

You be right. I still like that itty bitty point guard with the glare on the free throw line.

I am giving the MvP to Sean Miller. 6'0 210 coach. His play calling out of time outs has been unreal. In the purdue game when the muskies needed baskets in the worst way, he defiantly game through. (Back door to stan in first half, ally oop to derrick on the baseline)

I like the glare he had with the drive and kick to Josh for a dunk toward the end of the game.

MVP - I don't know. But I did like the Lavender pass thru the defenders legs to I believe was Love for the basket and the foul. Great camera work.

If I had to pick just one, I would probably go with Duncan. Points, rebounds, passion...he has been huge. However, everybody is playing a part in this team's success.

Stan has been leading the defensive assault as usual and has really seemed to keep this time focused, even in the down moments.

BJ has been off from long range, but he's scrapping a little more inside. In fact, I wish he wouldn't limit himself to just threes because I think he could do some damage as a slasher if he put his mind to it.

Drew is, well, Drew. Looks like he's starting to let it go out there too, worrying less and less about the injury. Playing to keep your season alive can have that effect!

Brown is giving boards, defense and presence.

CJ has been huge. His FT shooting has become so much better (must be pointing his toes!) and he's showing a desire that we haven't seen for a while. There was a period in the season that his game seemed to get stale, but he's got that attitude back and it's soooooo nice to see.

Love continues to do his thing. Bang, clean up the slop, play post D. He's also improving his offensive arsenal.

Heck, Dante has been huge during his minutes. The three-ball against Georgia is obvious, but he has been a pain in the arse on D. As I said in another post, the numbers may not show it but he has improved tremendously this year. He has the attitude of a winner and will be so much fun to watch for three more years.

I have to say, I feel kind of bad for Graves each time I see him just sitting on the bench. I think he has the skills to contribute, just isn't getting minutes. Maybe he's not doing it in practice, maybe he's not willing to buy into Sean's defensive approach, maybe he just doesn't fit into the rotation. Whatever it is, minutes are not finding him.

I also have to mention Sean. He has really come a long way from his start at XU. He's starting to look like a seasoned coach with big game experience. Sure, there are still times when I'm scratching my head a little, but he's done a great job and his work in the tourney so far has been outstanding.
