Purdue took 17 more shots than X, but hit one less.

It's not like Purdue didn't get to the line, they had 23 FTA's. X, on the other hand, had 33, converting 26.

Purdue had 13 offensive rebounds to our 5.

This was supposed to be a defensive struggle, and yet the teams combined for 163 points.

No matter how you look at it, this was a HUGE win for X, and now we can look forward to 5 days worth of press coverage. Excellent!

We did beat them in a big stat(beside the final score)....HEART. When X was down they did not panic and make it worse. They adjusted and fought back. When Purdue went up in the second half X came right back and took the lead back. This is something past teams did not do with the consistency this team had this year. 29-6 not too bad so far.

You know it seems like every time they let a lead slip away they seem to get the momentum back immediately.Purdue took the lead at 61-60 then we score 7 straight and never look back.We had a number of games during the season like that also.

When you shoot 55% you don't get as many offensive rebound opportunities. Purdue had a bunch in the last couple of minutes when they crashed the boards with everyone.

Everyone makes a big deal out of how many free throws a team makes (X in this case).
Why doesn't anyone point out the obvious. They would not have the opportunity to do so were it not for the other team - via the fouls.

That's pretty much true, but you get to the line not because the other team is fouling, but because the refs call a foul. They're not always the same thing.

When CJ threw the ball out of bounds. And then called a time out trying to inbound the ball on the next posession, I became concerned. Purdue didn't have any timeouts left and that only helped Purdue. I think getting through this will help CJ in games to come.

The clock miscues really helped Purdue since they didn't have any TO's left. That bugged me as well.
