Looks like X starts out -11.5. That is a lot of points against a Dayton team having its best season in years. Obviously I think we will win but I think Dayton will get the cover. Hope I'm wrong. Lets go X!

This Dayton team will be missing its second and third best players; I hate to gloat, but X should win by 15 or more. What would the spread be at UD if we were missing say Derrick and Stanley?

I don't really care whether we cover the spread. I just want a win. That's all they keep track of in the record book. Besides, you can't discount that Dayton is playing well and 11 points sounds like a lot to me.

And we were how many point favorites against UC? Like the Crosstown Shootout, I'd take the points.

I am nervous about this game. I'd like to win by double-digits but I'll take a one-point victory too. I'd love to see the X-men seniors really shine tonight - they're last game against regional/conference rival at Cintas. I hope in about 12 hours, I'm breathing easy!

Get the win and let others worry about the line.

This big spread makes me nervous as well, but it is not hard to explain. First, "smart" betters know that we have not lost to Dayton at home since 81. Smart money also knows that Wright was a valuable player, and was making Roberts an even better player. Whoever is guarding Wright can't help double on Roberts, or anyone else.

I am in the lock of the day contest on the A10 board, and would take Dayton and the points if it didn't violate a cardinal personal rule, never bet against the Muskies at home. It's not a logical rule, just a personal one. This is of course why I don't bet actual money on games.

CBS Sportsline has tonight as 77-64 X, for what it's worth.

And, yes, Loyola at Butler should be as close to a lock as it on the board tonight.

I keep getting this thought that even with those two scorers out and if they can do a half way good job on Roberts, that somebody unexpected will step up and go crazy and have a career night. It would be a lot more expected at the crUD Arena though so I am not as worried but hey I am worried every game. I saw the line before coming over here and frankly was shocked. I hope it does not go to the players' heads! Like several here have said let's forget about the line and just be concerned with a win.
