Plot thickens on 7-foot-2 Chier Ajou

Postby muskieman » Thu Jun 14, 2012 11:46 pm

who appeared Butler bound.
2012 big man Chier Ajou of St Thomas Moore Academy has committed to Northwestern per his AAU coach. He will be in Evanston on Saturday
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Another guy just decommitted from NU, so that may have opened up a spot for this guy.

(Wait, I thought only X had guys decommit, and it's usually Mack's fault! You mean this happens to other schools, too????)

I think the kid read a few articles about Coach Mack and was so affected by what he read that he immediately decommitted from Butler. Northwestern is still on pins and needles fearing that the kid might still have a case of Mack-itis and decommit from the Wildcats' program as well.

Where will it all end!!!???

That is why he is pissed....Carmody would let him run his hands through his hair but that was years ago.

The stability of the core of the Butler program has been shaken with this decommittment. Man, I can't believe that Butler hasn't fired Stevens yet because of this.

This is why I do not pay any attention to recruiting or verbal commitments. Until they sign the papers and show up on campus to play, the whole process of recruiting and verbals is not worth the time to read. I read this because I thought it pertained to X and was misled by the post/lol. Who cares he committed and de committed except the 2 teams involved.

For the answer to that question, just check out the posters on this site who have frequently been negatively critical of Coach Mack relative to that and related subjects. Those guys seem to be deeply concerned about numerous aspects of his tenure as head coach even though similar things frequently happen in other programs and are treated as routine by the mainstream media and those schools' fan bases.

It is blatantly obvious that these posters got their BVD's in a bunch 20+ years ago when Chris was a BMOC and they were not. Seemingly, Coach Mack has grown up, matured, and developed his many talents while these guys are still acting like a bunch of envious teenagers.
