How many predicted that would be a headline this morning?

KF was huge last night, and we all hope he continues to play, if not at that level, at least like a solid contributor. But this pretty much sums up his career at X---
"It was the enigmatic Kenny Frease, who entered Xavier as a top 100 recruit expected to dominate the paint in the Atlantic 10 for years. Frease has a good career with the Musketeers, but the seven-footer never lived up to those expectations. The only thing more memorable than his inconsistency is the fact that he was the guy that got dropped by Yancy Gates."

Neutral, I hate it when you're right.

But, to be fair, KF seems like a good guy, and I'd like him to finish his career on a good note, so here's hoping he continues to play well on Friday (and afterwards!).
TH has already gotten his share of plaudits, but he's also gotten his share of criticism for his role, however limited, in The Brawl. Very happy that he got back to the Sweet 16.

Mr. N., KF has not been a model citizen off the court from what has been widely reported, so I don't know how you can claim he "seems like a good guy". He's been lazy and has totally underacheived throughout his career based on what he was projected to be as a freshman. One great game in the tournament doesn't erase that.

I knew The Big Diesel Freese had it in him. Unleash the Beast in Frease!. Rumor is that Kenny won't eat a doughnut without dunking it first.

If by "widely reported", you mean occasional---and totally unsubstantiated---posts, I go on what we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, and printed in a reliable source, not what some anonymous poster said happened but can't be verified.

I assume then that you know Kenny personally and all of these MANY reports obviously are false.

No, I don't at all, nor have I ever said or implied as much.
What I have repeatedly said on this board is that anonymous posts about a player's (or coach's) personal life will generally be deleted, and I don't put much, if any, stock in them. If and when something makes the papers, then it becomes something I'll take seriously.

Whether the reports are true or not, there's no question KF's career has been marked by mostly poor performances as one of the least impactful seven footers to lace them up. Last night was great, but it doesn't take away the prior four years.
