How can a Top 5 team, go to a conference foe who is lousy, and lose after holding a 10 point lead in the 2nd half?

Hey, it happens. Welcome to the NCAA.

As one of the ESPN announcers said last night, Kentucky was Kentucky again, at least for one night. And having 24,000 screaming fans behind you doesn't hurt, either.

I'm happy for Billy Gillespie. The UK coaching job's about as hot a seat as there is in college basketball, and he needed a big W.

It was a conference game. This is Tennessee's Temple game. Were there any Fire Coach Miller threads's after our loss to Temple.

Exactly, it was a conference game on the road. UK will not make the tournament this year and can only player spoiler.

Plus, did you see the graphic of UT's record in Lexington and at Rupp? They were something like 4-20 at Rupp and 10-81 all-time at UK. Just shows how tough road games in-conference are.

So far, they like Tubby in Minnesota, but following on the Dan Monson Era, Smith doesn't have that high a bar to hurdle.
