Xavier University basketball

I have been a fan of Xavier University since my dad took me to the last football game. Ever since then I have been hooked! I had learned from my dad that THE Xavier University was a small school, that had values, that were above any thing else. As the kid grew into a teenager, I saw this very clearly, with the way Xavier's team and coaches performed on and off the court, in comparison to that of U.C, Bob Huggins and some of his players. This as a high school and college kid just made it clear why I was a Xavier fan! Yesterday I read what Stanley B. said in the paper. I had VERY mixed emotions. I agree with Stanley that many of the teams players worked as a team for it success. I also believed that the players that won awards were VERY deserving. That being said, for him to do what he did may have crossed the line!? Stanley could show displeasure but without the attitude and esp. NOT in public! Use it as motivation! Dont drag the media into this! Again after reading Stanleys comments not once did I see Drews name mentioned, in addition, he said he was the leader of this team. The last time I checked, up until recently, D.L was the leader. I know and understand that D.L is hurt but this WAS a snub! I may and I hope I am wrong, when I say that this team may have some issues. When you have the leader publicly put down other coaches and players in the league there will be problems! That attitude is NOT the attitude that I remember growing up LOVING about this University. For a TEAM to do well from this point on they have to be exactly that, a TEAM! Again, I hope "I" am overreacting but I foresee
a problem. I AM going to San Antonio I hope that I CAN see this team there!

Drew might be a floor leader but Stan is the leader of the team. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Bad timing. however, going into three more A-10 games.
Made the X (target) just a little bigger.

If they want to focus on Stanley then the rest of the team will pick him up.

BTW X has a target no matter what Stan says and now Stan has stirred up his team mates so they can get pissed about the slight. They have something to prove now and I hope they go through the A-10 and embarsses them like they deserve.

Its not THE Xavier University, it is Xavier University. The Ohio State University actually has "The" in their name which is why it is used, Xavier does not.
