Being the worrier I am, I'd rather have faced SLU than have to beat UD for a 3rd time. Hate to say this, but the Flyers are due to beat X at some point, and maybe they're righting the ship.

Having said that, we should win tomorrow, but I'd still rather be facing the Billikens.

Eh, I'd rather just beat them for the sixth time in a row.
Also, I like our chances of avenging all of our A-10 losses. First, St. Joe's then Temple.

Mr. Neutral,
I would rather face UD because every once in a while, SLU gets hot and can knock off better teams, even on the road.

Onward to a #2 seed.

UD has just not imprerssed me for a long time. The only thing they have going for them is the law of averages.I like our chances.SLU always seems to give X trouble.

I'd rather play ud. They have soooo many stars on that team. Remember they have Binnie.

i don't know what the line is, but if it's under fifteen i would give the points if i were you.

x is going to mangle my flyers tomorrow. not just defeat, but mangle. we are just not a very good team, especially in the last five minutes of a game. missed free throws, turnovers galore(geezy pete, we can't even get the ball inbounds half the time), poor decision making.

i had a little hope after watching ud play relatively well against the hawks on saturday that they had a little momentum, but nope. they are an average team at ud arena, but a horrible one anywhere else.

this doesn't mean i won't be pulling hard for 'em, i am as much a diehard as anyone.

but it is going to get real ugly, real quick.

I have a feeling johnnysalami is just taking the "don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed" approach. He's telling himself the Flyers are the underdog so that way he won't be upset if they lose. However, deep down, he believes they're going to win and move on.

The thing that should be in UD's favor is that any hope of the Big Dance is probably riding on this game. They have everything to play for.

In XU's case, they probably need to win the whole tourney to be considered for a #2 seed and losing shouldn't drop them anywhere below a #5 at the lowest. And even the #5 would be considered a slap in the face.

Basically, the Flyers HAVE to win, the Muskies do not. Xavier is playing seeding, Dayton is playing for a bid.

you, sir, are dead wrong.

i have no feelings, deep down or otherwise, that ud is going to compete with x today, let alone win. my flyers haven't played well away from ud arena since jan.12(win at st. louis) and so i don't expect all of a sudden for them to do it now.

i am as big a fan of my team as any other; i will cheer hard and hope for the best. however, i am a realist. the muskies will end ud's hope for an at large bid today.

put that in your pipe and smoke it.
