To me a lot of what that says has to do with our motto "All for One". This was a year that was clearly about team and not about individuals. Another way of looking at it rather than bemoan what seems to some a snub is to tally the number of players on all three teams from each school which also illustrates the league balance that has been noted all year. That goes ...
Xavier - 3
St. Joe's - 2
Temple - 2
URI -1
La Salle - 1
Charlotte - 1
Dayton - 1
Fordham - 1
SLU - 1
Richmond - 1
UMass - 1
And of the 7 special awards Xavier got the three that I think matter most ...
Coach of the Year
Defensive Player of the Year
6th Man
If you have 6th man I think that says a lot about that first 5!
All that being said we SHOULD have had a player on 1st team!!!

I hope the players use this and burns down the A-10 tourney. I hope this also pushes Drew to get a chip on his shoulder and makes the A-10 his playground.
IN the end just get the ring and play so well the MVP of the tourney.

I find it hard to believe that the top defender in the league who also carries very solid offensive statistica does'nt deserve a spot at minimum on the 2nd team.

As valuable as Stan has been, and he has, 9.9ppg, 39% shooting, single-digit scoring in 10 of our 16 conference games, with no game higher than 16, isn't going to get you 1st or 2nd team all-league unless you're a shot-blocking center, monster rebounder, or Jason Kidd-like assist man, none of which describes Stan.
