Losing 36-8 right now, holy cow.

I almost feel embarrassed for them.

I don't. On the rare occasion I feel the need to gloat, I'll take every opportunity to discuss this game with any belligerent Bearcat I know.

There aren't many really, most have become relatively quiet in the past few years. But one recently got under my skin while I was playing cards at Argosy last weekend.

ESPN just made UC the laughingstock of the afternoon. "Apparently they forgot to show up today too."

brutal game...uc might be the worst outside shooting team i've seen this year.

i don't follow UC that closely, but is it just me, or do they play a top notch school every game? every time i catch some of their games it's against UCONN, G-Town, Louisville, Memphis, X, NC State, Pittsburgh etc....they've got to have one of the top SOS.

the big east if ridiculous i guess

SOS or not, it's inexcusable to lose by 45 to anybody. Prairie View A&M gave Tennessee a better game. Missouri KC gave Kansas a better game. Hell, Belmont gave Xavier a better game.

And Belmont beat UC. Not exactly a "top notch" program.

Other than recruiting local turf, we gain very little by playing UC every year.

A couple of weeks ago, Cronin was yelling for an at large in the NCAA's. I'd like to have some of that s**t he's smoking.

Big east is 10-9 v.s. the A-10 this year and the conference is down as a whole. UC in the last 2 weeks played Depaul, South Florida and Providence, went 1-2 and beat South Florida by a point. Those 3 teams blow as do Seton Hall, Rutgers & UC.

Y. Gates disagrees.

UC could have said the same thing many times over the years.

Agreed Gorilla, they won 4 of 5 games against mediocre competition and suddenly Politikin' Mick thinks they're a tournament capable team. I actually respect the guy for his candor, but he's somewhat misinformed about the capabiliites of his squad.

Awfully defensive of the Bearcats this evening, aren't you michiganXman?

Other recent quotes of yours, michiganXman include:
"...a couple close games (St. Joes at home and @ Charlotte) we benefitted from some very "questionable" calls."
"...the A-10 is a lot worse than we all thought."
"...I guess we should just be happy making the tournement like years past..."
"...you earn respect by winning in the NCAA tourney, which historically, we have not done a whole lot of."
