GW leads 36-33 in the 2nd half.
With an RPI of 60 (currently) and an SOS of 97, the women pretty much have to win the tourney to go to the NCAA. The season-ending loss to #105 St. Joe's hurt them.

Gary, I believe Temple won, so X plays Temple for the title tomorrow? Even if X loses tomorow they should be in---GW was a ranked team.

Nice win for the lady muskies...I do not think the RPI is correct. They did not lose to St.Joes..college rpi realtime has them losing..they beat St.Joes by 22 last night...today's win should get them into the field regardless of the outcome tomorrow.

Great win for the ladies. Their future is really bright with Phillips and Harris being only a freshman and sophomore. Their weakness in the games that I've seen is definitely their guard play in running their offense and outside shooting. Hopefully they have some shooters coming in next years recruiting class. They need somebody to pull the double teams off of Phillips.

You may well be right, Q. Jerry Palm had X at #47 in the RPI following yesterday's SJU win and before today's win over #24 GW. So, our RPI should get down to the 40 range, which hopefully will be good enough. A loss to Temple would put us back in the mid/high 40's, though, and that's always bubble territory.
The Lady Muskies beat Temple by 9 on Feb. 9th, for what that's worth. The Owls have now won 7 straight, so they'll be no pushover by any means.
