Xavier is doing the same thing a lot of high ranked teams did in their tournament....lose the first game they played in their tournament so they can go home and rest. These conf. tournaments mean nothing to most high ranked/seeded teams. I knew Xavier would lose or throw this game.....Xavier's seed number should fall big time....losing to Dayton twice.

You know, you can't really attribute the deficit to turnovers that much. The margin is only 11 to 14. More simply, Dayton is just outplaying Xavier.

Xavier is definitely not throwing this game...they're playing it just like they played the last game at Dayton. And a conference tournament championship does mean something to them, and to every team in this tournament. It's called success. I doubt any A-10 team will be putting up an NC banner this year, and this is at least something significant.

Yes, definitely statistically. I think Dayton is outplaying Xavier in most aspects though, and we're lucky this isn't a wider margin right now.
