Good teams find a way to win close games and road games. Right now, this team is not good.

Amen. Very disappointing. Thought O'Mara played better tonight but wish he could do more

agree about the three but look at Gaston's line (double-double). You have to throw it to him more
RaShid was definitely a bright spot tonight along with Tre.
They had 39 of X's 66 pts.
Maybe play more high/low action between those 2 guys.

Pathetic play against another non-tourney team. X could easily have 4 losses, as we squeaked by the likes of Missouri and Lehigh. Their isolation, one on one, CBA style offense ain’t working, but the only ones who seem painfully unaware of that sits on our bench. Even Bill Walton cringed at the ridiculous shot selection early in the clock when X hurled 3 consecutive 3s, down by 3 late in the game. This despite the fact that they’ve shot the 3 ball all year (though Blueirr has been hot the last 2 games), and no one has been able to contains Gaston down low, nor Sumner on the drive.

I was the earliest poster last year to suggest CM would be a COY candidate after about 10 games. Unfortunately, the prowess ended at the worst time: right before the league and NCAA tourneys started, when we flamed out with our tails between our legs. Now, our preseason top 10 team continues to slump. Who is responsible for that? If one gets credit for shots being made by players last year, should one own the lack thereof this year, particularly when wild 3 pointers seem to be the hallmark of the offense?

Just an awful performance. Top 25?? Perhaps 35. Not playing as a team. No inside game (on Mack). Why is Bernard (#11) playing, period?

One can only hope that they can convince Sumner not to go "Pro". What a joke.

Myles can not and will not be the Savior for this team but boy I wish he was back right now. I hope Gaston did not give us his best game because we need him Gates 0-5 and missed open shots
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

My observations. Outside of Big 3 again 3/9 free throws. Gates has shown nothing so far. When I saw exhibition game I noted free throws were a big problem.

The shot selection, lazy defense, poor overall execution. At least Mack had the sense (this time) to not wait for the under 8 timeout to try to stop the bleeding.

Are they tanking to get Myles back???

I'm always disappointed after a loss. And I begin to doubt Coach Mack. I just don't how he can't set up plays to stop or shorten runs by opposing teams. Or when they are cold take shorter shots from inside the three. I guess the obvious answer to that is because no one has a short range shot on this team. Lots of gaps to fill on offense and defense. But losses like this only magnify the problems areas With this team.

X has lost 2 games on the road to teams in the Power 5 conferences. And both BU and CU were in the tournament last year.
X let this one get away.
Need to regroup, get back to the friendly confines of Cintas and get a W against the Utes on Saturday.
Nice games for Tre and 'Shid but JP and Ed need to make shots along w/ Kaiser Gates. There were posts earlier this year about Kaiser possibly being a pick for All-BE team. He is not even remotely close to being on an All-BE team...1 for 10 in his 2 games from 3.
