Gotta hand it to coach and his legion who obviously likes playing for him. Man do they persist through streaks of no offense at all. Proud of our guys and coach!! GO SAINTS!!!!!

I'm not sure how we won that game, but nice adjustments by Steele to bring us back. Scruggs out played Baldwin and is paying like a first teamer. I don't think I have seen a worse shooting 3 point shooting team ever. Considering we had the foul advantage we should have pounded into Hankins, especially since Jones had lost his composure. Naji hit a few big free throws, but really played lazy on defense and continues to shoot poorly. Those two T's were ridiculous.

2 and 0 without Goodin in the starting lineup. Should he come off the bench?

Normally I don't waste my time but it's Sunday, Patriots are blowing out Chargers so I thought I spend a few minutes there. I am amazed how similar they are to every other board after a loss. Change the names of the players and it sounds like this board up to the 4 minute mark remaining. Difference is they are not blaming the past coach but wishing he was still there... as he is riding a three game losing streak and is 2-3 in the Big Ten. They are blaming the TO when they were up 10 and Nate's point blank miss at the rim. Guess things never changemumuskie87 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 2:18 pmX is now 41 and 20 against Butler.
Now for some Woodford Reserve while I read the game blog on Butler Hoops.![]()
The next most enjoyable thing next to watching X pull out this victory.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Glad Baldwin took that shot. Jorgensen was wide open on his left.

That surprises me,
Since Holtman started flirting with OSU before the season at Butler started via his coaching Tinder account, and even started recruiting for the Buckeyes & Bulldogs simultaneously, even though his checks were paid by Butler. Kinda unethical don't ya think? Also, he unnecessarily took a classless shot at his former players because he never could get to the final four despite getting a one and two seed on the backs of these subpar players who somehow conned themselves on to NBA rosters.
Then, he told recruits he turned a mediocre program into an elite one, forgetting that his two predecessors went to the E-8 2x in the previous six years, and he got there once in 9th.
Ooops! Scratch that. Wrong coach!

In Jones defense, he actually played a good game but got beat up physically and even though the T was not good, I’m surprised he remained calm as much as he did. Butler threw 3 bigs at him and each tried to beat him up. Three different times they knocked him to the ground and out of the play with no call. He even asked the ref to watch them. Twice those led to 5 on 4 breaks for Butler while he slid across the floor.
