Wish I could.......I used up my allotment of "guys' weekends". Went to the RI game a month ago with Scott, and went ice fishing two weekends ago.

A preggers wife and I will be cheering like crazy on the couch!

Mr N, couldn't you have waited and texted Coach during the game?

harryfe wrote:Gary your reply to Coach's comments on a thread that he started are very inappropriate. I think it is 4 to 5 against you. You don't think he is going to respond to your and everyone else's criticisms on a message board do you? And they were "tongue in cheek" criticisms.

When you think everyone else is wrong you should look at your self.
I can't believe the number of posters trying to get a lawyer to admit he was wrong. Stop wasting your energy. Save it for your lungs on Sunday. I'll be screaming my head of from my perch up in section 206. I think it's great that our coach took to the message boards and media to get our fans charged up. He bleeds Xavier blue.
Mark Twain was wrong. Golf is NOT a good walk spoiled. It is a shared personal experience in a majestic wonderland guided by God, whose name is called frequently during the round.

I just think it's cool that a university head coach would post on a web site like this.
So kudos for Coach Mack and take the Spiders apart on Sunday!
I'm in Colorado and will be yelling at the TV.

Mr. Nuetral I have no idea what you do for a living but I am guessing you are not a b-ball coach, other than maybe a grade school coach, and if you are I commend you for volunteering, but I have said this before that the dumbest D1 college coach men or women know 100% more about basketball than we will ever know.

We do not go to practice everyday and see what the players can do, so we blame the coach when they don't execute in the heat of the game. We can disagree with the philosophy of offense or defense, after all we all have 2 years of Philosophy and theology from X so by gosh put it to use, but lets remember we all do something else for a living and NOT coach B-Ball let alone X for a living.

Please remeber that when when you post!

Keep this thread at the top! We are entering March. This is an X fans holiday season. I look forward to it all year.
This season, Coach Mack has come through by getting us back to the tourney. To top it off, he even posted on MM.
A Merry Madness to everyone!

Chris Mack came on here to post a blog and it was treated as a discussion. Understand the difference. A blog is a statement of a situation or direction. He will not rejoin to answer questions. He is actively addressing the issues that will make this team succeed. He was well informed enough to know the most passionate fans are here as well as in the stands (and both when possible). Please don’t think that you have questions that a coach of this caliber is not aware of and is trying to address. Coach Mack’s job occupies all of his time and he has more basketball experience and knowledge than most (if not all of us). OK all of us. Let us support coach and support his request. Go X!
