Re: Providence game thread
pd Muskie I tend to be a hard marker myself also but I agree with X Lucidity. Souley scored 33 pts on 11-19 shooting. Three turn overs, 4 assists, 7 rebounds and 7-7 from the free throw line. I heard he sold pop corn at half time and swept the gym floor before boarding the bus. I love ya. but wow! Go X.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Re: Providence game thread
Did everyone miss that I said Boum had a great game? Just because I call out his mistakes, doesn't mean he didn't play great or that I think he didn't play great. There is always room for improvement but if you don't acknowledge where the mistakes are, it is much harder to improve.
Defense, ball security and shot selection are particularly important to me. Miller has essentially proven the wisdom in holding shot selection dear. That significant change from prior years has transformed Xavier into an offensive force. Defense has improved. Turnovers still plague the team too often but there have been games, including the win against Providence where the team consistently valued possessions.
