This is horrible basketball and bad lineups. Steele has no answer develop a big or put in Edwards
Do you really think Edwards is the answer? You claim to have played the game but your analysis is just desperate not knowledgeable. The team is playing hard but Nate is still not a factor and the rebounding is told by the size of the SH players. 10 O rebounds are all contested and many lucky bounces. 7'2" 280 lbs guys are hard to box out
Hops,

Edwards will not play significant minutes without an injury or foul trouble. Travis is hooked on Zach. If Ewards gets minutes it will be at the expense of Nunge. I have never wanted a coach fired more than Travis at this time. The mistakes were so glaring. It mostly wasn't even player execution related, just horrific substitution.

I bet you said that when he took that three or was it a pass to nobody. I think the positive of this game was Zach fouled out because Edwards got his chance and he made the most of it. Monday Travis said he was going to play Edwards but I guess sky heard that so he made that Carnac comment.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

so it is good you have no input about Travis' job. Take a pill and relax

He said two years ago last November that he was going to play Ramsey but came up with a fairy tale that he was too injured....until he played great minutes at Butler 18 mos later. I wonder who transplanted those legs for Ramsey for him to contribute positive minutes in only 17 minutes a game this yr?

BTW,
My nephew, who until recently was a big time Steele fan, posted this in our private XU Bball thread:

"Classic Steele late season slide at about the 20 game mark.

Year one at this point they lost 8/10 from January to February.

Year two lost 5/6 in January into February

Year three January was wiped out with postponed games and they finished losing 6/8

Year four they are currently on a streak of losing 4/6.

Can’t wait for the excuses to come flying again this year, not like there is a distinct pattern."

I don’t know if he got this from Twitter, or did his own research, but it makes no difference, unfortunately. Once again, X got lucky, as SH’s leading scorer and PG missed the game, just like DP’s leading scorer was missing in both games. So, they lost two games and squeaked out a one point win ag a 1-9 DP team…..when they were missing their leading scorers. X also evaded two sure losses last year by escaping the annual ass kickings from Nova. How we feeling about X under Steele? FIL is going to send the Christophers some Harry and David Peaches just because……..he is one class act. Now I know how GTown fans felt with JT3.

Was that a challenge Muskieman? You think I can't get him fired? You obviously don't know me. Challenging me has never been a good decision for anyone. I'm naturally lazy but I hate to lose. Absolutely despise losing. I have shut down players 3 times better than me because they ran their mouth. I have excelled in business whenever it was needed. Motivate me and I will get end Travis at Xavier. He has been a failure. That is fine if he is an entry level employee and learning. Unfortunately he is a highly paid, Elite, as some would say. I have no interest in paying for his learning curve.

I am reducing my hours in partial retirement. I will happily take the HC position on a bonus basis. I will always bet on me. Anyone worth anything will always bet on themselves. Paying for potential makes no sense as an employer. Only the insecure and incompetent will expect pay without results.

Only a complete idiot would have gone for 3 in that possession with almost 20 seconds left.
We used to have a top 5 3 point shooter but I guess not anymore. He is having problems but if you are going to shoot the 3 Nate should still be the one. Since he has been missing I suppose that is why Scruggs didn’t pass to him when he was wide open on the last possession

a lot of games left to play, but X is getting closer to the BUBBLE a loss at a time.....inconsistent scoring and play, they are beating themselves.
They are not a tournament team period

8% ? BTW some of us do have an input financially but you are welcome to give a mill or so to be in that club and can complain your asses off. You on the other hand are part of the fan base screaming at our first elite eight coach when his team started the season off with a 10-9 record.

Good though to get you all on the record
