Great play design by Steele, and Marshall goes with his vintage fade away lab with his right hand. A simple left handed lab was there for the taking. Fitting end. Great effort by X, but as 87 said, free throw shooting killed us.

Well, that’s it. I would have liked them to get to the 20 win mark. X had their chances but couldn’t finish. Another disappointing loss. Poor Free throw shooting to blame, not Goodin’s miss, it was a team effort.
I do think Steele has improved greatly over the course of the season and I look forward to next year.

With Hayes and Roach they have the talent of a Top 20 team. Roach was suspended for five games, and they lost five of their last six. I don't think it was a coincidence. During the season, they beat: NC, Purdue, Kansas, Iowa St, and KSU, whose seeding range was from one to five. He was the best player on the court today, and it wasn't that close.

Steele, imo, is a going to be a very good coach. He really made great adjustments defensively during the year. The future looks good. They need shooters, and another post player.

Wish we had him for 4 years.
Has moved onto my my personal list of all time favorite Xavier players
Joins - Jason "Buttebean" Love, Dante Jackson, BJ Raymond, Tu Holloway, Big Game James Farr, Malcolm Bernard and last but not least - JP Macura
Zach leaves some big shoes to fill in the post.
Jones has really improved a lot this year but he is not a 40 minute player.
Needs a running mate in the post.

Missed FT's, got beat on the boards and too many open 3's for UT.
