as frustrating as the first half was to watch (and actually i was more frustrated with the officiating than our team's play), we went into halftime only down 3. we made Nova make some TOUGH 3's. some of those are just, you just gotta say "nice shot". good gracious they make some tough, long, AND contested 3's. not sure on this, but Nova looked more tired than us in the last 5 minutes. i'm sure our crowd helped with our team's energy but once they went cold around the 11 min mark, they couldn't get their groove back and X took advantage.

i don't know who to give the "MVP" of this game to. EVERYONE stepped up. best team effort i've seen. i don't even know how many we had in double figures, but it wasn't even that - it was just every single guy making some type of big time play at some point - Harden's 3 to tie, Jones block and rebound after getting hurt, Naji hesitating in transition and getting to the rim through 3 defenders, etc.

HUGE win for Steele and these guys.

Steele is .500 against GQ Jay . Didn't take him 3 years to beat Nova.Great effort by the guys.We are finally seeing the D that Steele had preached about before the year started.May be too little too late for making the tournament this year but gives us hope.

My brother mentioned what a very efficient line Scruggs had, which I thought was Justin Cage-like, other than the 3's made. he had 14 pts on 7 shots, 2 assists, zero t.o.s, and 6 boards. Marshall continues to play like one of the 5 best players in the league, but he again took way too many threes along with Goodin. Speaking of which, I think Goodin is playing better and better. The charge he baited Booth into was a great momentum changer. He also made 3-4 elite passes.
