I look forward to Steele and think it was a great hire in fact I said it before it happened. How do you know Ridder was a “mental midget”, that’s not nice. My point is that it could have possibly been avoided and we would have the shooter we are currently looking for in the Juco and transfer market. I’m looking forward to the post Vanilla Ice era.

everywhere i've read said the kid just wanted to be closer to home. that's fine and i don't know all the details but i'd say most D1 college bball players probably end up playing away from home, so instead of the coaches trying to MAKE a kid stay where he didn't LIKE being, he decided to transfer. his tweet even said his well-being was more important which to me sounds like he clearly wasn't happy at Xavier, THE SCHOOL, not Xavier the team, since he transferred on Sept. 23 and practices hadn't even started yet. the fact that you take the jab at Mack, like it was his fault this happened, just adds more to the fact that the kid was just homesick and there was nothing the coaching staff was going to do to change his mind.
