When you find out what Fremantle did you will not be stupid enough to defend him
We all know what Sean did and for some reason 95% of this board is stupid enough to defend him.

Maybe Sean just wanted someone to hang out with during his own suspension. If so, he should have chosen an end of the bench player instead of Free.
this is also an ignorant take. no one is DEFENDING what he did. we are simply MOVING ON. that's what Freemantle should have done if he didn't like what Sean was selling. he chose to STAY. get on board or suffer the consequences. Sean will face his at the beginning of this season, and then MOVE ON.

you should, too.
Sean Miller lied, cheated, and his assistant went to prison = has nearly univeral support of our fans

Freemantle gets suspended for an incident we know nothing about = lets run him out of town

If I was Free, I would hit the local press and deny wrongdoing. Just like his new coach did when the Zona allegations first came out and Sean insisted he didnt know Dawkins and had never spoken to him.

Call me crazy for holding a 50-something year old to a higher standard than a college kid.

if the FBI had hardcore evidence of what you're saying, Miller would have been in jail right next to Book. they didn't, but Miller lost his job for a year. all of this because he said he didn't know someone and you think he DID???

who is throwing Freemantle under the bus? NO ONE.

most everyone on here has said that they hope Freemantle works out with Sean whatever it is he is/was/isn't/wasn't doing that Sean felt the need to do this.

i, for one, hope he figures it out, his teammates welcome him back, and he has a fantastic season.

whatever grudge you have against Miller seems to be WAY more than just this whole FBI thing, which turned out to be NOTHING because all he's waiting on is the NCAA to make their ruling.

he will serve (and has served the last year basically by not coaching anywhere) his time, move on, and be back on the sideline and really, you should as well.

people who are able to forgive are normally just happier people, in general. give it a shot.

Are you saying that Sean Miller does not know Christian Dawkins and never had conversations with him?

We're still Christians, aren't we? You know, the people that forgive people's sins. The ones that believe in second chances.
Put the Miller thing to rest already. No one here condones or excuses whatever role he might have played. But he's repented by sitting out a year and will serve whatever suspension the NCAA hands down. And that should be the end of it. Some folks on this board appear to want to just issue death sentences to every person in prison. Heaven forbid we forget our Christian roots and allow people to move past their transgressions.

are you saying this is the ONLY reason that you deem Sean Miller not worthy of being Xavier's Head Basketball Coach? because if that's the truth, it's time for you to do some soul-searching of your own.

Nah....it is mainly the lying and cheating. Five Level 1 violations including grade changing.

Most importantly, letting long time friend Book Richardson take the fall and go to prison without coming to his defense in anyway. Cared more about his career (when he already has more money than he'll ever need) than his friend. Book's life is in shambles.

I have no tolerance for hypocrites either. Sean preaching discipline, accountablility, and putting the team ahead of your own self-interests when he did none of that at Arizona. Then when he got caught, he lied.

Then when it was proven he lied, he went silent. Seems like a scumbag to me.

Also doesnt seem to align with the "Xavier Way" we have bragged about for 30 years and taken so much pride in.

I swear, some people here just seem to get stuck on hating a coach and have to bring it into each and every discussion that happens.

First it was Mack
Then Steele,
And now Miller?

Geez…take a hike son, take a hike

So I guess you'll be moving along to another team (and board) since your hate for Miller won't let you root for the Muskies... Don't let the Cintas door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya...

Since we don't know if Zac disrespect Sister Rose or maybe committed murder I'll just wait until Coach Miller or Zac announces the next step in the process... Dan

only update Baum gave on suspension was that sources say that the suspension is something Free will have the chance to work his way back from.

that's all i've heard.
