Back on the right side of the bubble. That can change quickly if they don't take care of business with their remaining games, but huge win. Congrats to my boy Steele & Co. Scruggs. Free and Odom were huge, and Kunkel had a nice game. Best part of Free is that he didn't force 5+ shots, and played his best defensive game of the year.

Love Carter's play in appropriate limited minutes. Hopefully, Coach Steele takes note.

If Odom could shoot he would be dangerous

If Odom could shoot, he'd be at Kansas. Love his game though. As long as he shoots primarily labs and floaters in the lane, I'm good with it. Freshmen class is stellar.

Carter took one shot, so did Kyky, and both missed

I think I'd take my chances with Kyky over Carter. You?????? I'll help you out here. One guy shoots twice as well from three than the other. Who do you think Creighton wants to see shoot the three, two, of at the free-throw line between the two?

You made a point of including Carter in your claim about missed three when Carter had taken only one shot the whole half which was the same as Kyky with the same results. I like Kyky but then I don't have man-crushes as you do. I understand Carter rejected you but give it a break

Why do you need to resort to derogatory comments with sexual innuendo whenever you disagree with someone? I use to wonder why you had a Truman Capote tattoo on your chest, and Liberace on your back. I don't wonder any more.

Need the next two on the road. GT is big and bruising but they don't play consistently. Marquette also is bruisers.

I’m one of the first to criticize but I will also commend. I thought this was one of Travis’ best coached games. For the first time in a while it looked like they had a plan on both sides of the ball. Even in the first half when Creighton erased a nine point lead it had a different feel. I thought two non calls on Odom drives were bad and I didn’t see guys just jacking up bad shots. Clock management was good for the most part, possessions didn’t seem to be a helter skelter. Now, the key is can this be repeated, it should be but the jury is still out on that. A friend of mine asked me after the game, “ are you back on the Travis train ?” My answer is not yet. Performances like this must become a constant. Saw some growth today , hope it continues.
