Providence plays reckless and throws up a lot of garbage.

Scruggs is passing terribly but playing impressive defense. Same goes for Naji. Defense is developing more quickly for these two very talented freshmen. Providence's defense is too quick for them. By the end of the Big East regular season, these two will be playing at a much higher level, but they have to play to learn from their mistakes. Unfortunately, this game film will provide too many teachable moments.

CM has done an excellent job overall coaching this year but has laid a T-Rex sized egg in the 1st half, rivaled only by the E Tenn St game. Team is completely undisciplined. Last 33 seconds is a microcosm of this. Down 8, Macura takes a 3 with 20 seconds on the shot clock, which could have given Providence another look. Then, the shot they get to end the half is a 35 foot three. Never even explored a low post option.

I have faith both he and the players will wake up this half. Providence wouldn't be a bad loss, but the manner so far would be. 5 points or less, AH is taking X in the 2nd half. I'm keeping the faith that considerably greater overall talent will prevail.

PC is doing a good job pushing our ball handlers 8-10 feet behind the 3 point line and we keep letting them doing it leading to a stupid shots like JPs last one.

That's on CM. Down by 8-10 most of the half, X keeps firing up long 3s early in the shot clock. He needs to instill discipline, and stop treating this like an exhibition game.
