This guy (me) does discuss UD on here as well as UMass, URI, Fordham and all the other league teams. And also, again as the title would suggest I discuss Richmond and found it interesting that they rushed the court and were so unique as to cheer "overrated" (likely the most overdone cheer there is). I was expecting perhaps some recall of some of the nice times that X had in visits there. But others seemed more determined to make this a thread about UD and I think there were folks pro and con ranting on this topic. At any rate, I personally would suggest we either get on topic here, or move this conversation elsewhere.joeybaloney wrote: you guys never discuss ud on here, right? i

Baloney-UD can be a rival because you are discussed on this board. In terms of record, NCAA success, head to head, in recent past even you would admit other than the fact that you are 45 minutes away, there is no real rivalry. Look at the facts in the last 5 years, X record vs UD is 10-4; X has NCAA record of 5-4, UD 0-0. X has Elite 8, Sweet 16, 2 second rounds, and one one and done. UD tends to rival San Fransisco.

And back to the topic ... speaking of rushing the floor. When was the last time Xavier rushed the floor? Have they done so at Cintas? Disclaimer: With old age, my mind is getting forgetful but I have been to many games and I am sure I have seen it quite a few times.
The last one I remember which may not be the last time was the win in the tournament over undefeated St. Joe's at crUD Arena. The location made it particularly nice. I seem to remember the students negotiating with the UD gestapo so that there was not a scene. Fortunately it went well. I was also at the win over #1 UC at the Gardens. And though I don't know that we rushed the floor after the win over Georgetown in Indy I clearly remember the whole Xavier cheering section continuing the cheer out into the street as we crossed over to the hotel to await the team. Fun times indeed.
Oh and who was at that famous game in the old Alumni Gym when X beat Evansville (I think it was) for the MCC championship and Dwight Hollins climbed up on the basket!? I was.
