Are you not Entertained…? Luckily Lucidity placed a dime on the Huskies minus 7.5 to ease the predicable pain. The sheer madness of Steele refusing to adapt to certain players failings and allowing them to play 32+ minutes a game is head-scratching, and getting old. Hell, this game is lost. (save a miracle 8 for 8 from 3pt land ala at Creighton a month ago). So why not sit Paul for a L-O-N-G spell, let Dwon run point. Play Cesare more in lieu of Free and or Hunter. Let Miles play more when Nunge needs a break. In other words, try something different and play some younger kids more that seem interested.
We all suspected this would be a loss. Too bad we sucked an egg vs DePaul and SJ at home making this tragedy at UConn all the more damaging. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Hopefully the X powers-that-be are paying attention.

Brando suspects that at halftime, Steele probably had a Come to Jesus meeting. That means he must have simply stared in the mirror for the full 12 minutes.

Eight point game with 14 minutes. A pulse. I think these circus shots from Free against Sonogo should probably end now. He has missed virtually all of them. Thank God UConn has missed three of four at the rim.

win or lose - I like the fight we are showing. Hard to figure where this courage and energy come from, hard to figure why it lies dormant for so long, but thank the Lord we are back within "hope" distance in this crucial game. Let's go X, would LOVE to lose that dime...

Free has had a very solid game. Scruggs has had another bad one, and for some reason, Kunkel, their best offensive player and only three point threat has been sitting for three minutes. Again. Out at crunch time.

Clint once said, "a man's got to know his limitations" Free would be wise to learn that...

Much better effort in the second half. Shows the potential is there if they can figure out games are typically 40 minutes long. At least the second half was worth watching.

Nice to see Nunge not slowing down in the last 6 minutes, those well timed combined 1:30 from Edwards and Miles in the first 5 minutes were smart! Great roster management again by Steele, just a masterclass.

26 to 42
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
