You're missing the point. You can't apply normal logic to how the Ncaa works on these matters. That is the one certainty in these matters. They went way off into the weeds and didn't need to. The old "keep it simple stupid" logic applies to Ncaa transfer waivers. Guy is at a small school and wants to go to higher level. Going off into these unique and individual reasons is never, never, never a good idea.

I don't remember wanting to go to a “higher level” program being on the list of approved transfer exceptions.

It shouldn’t be.....but it sure seems to work out that it is more often than not for certain schools. :?:

It is just sad for Stanley and for Xavier this year but after all, it is 2020!
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Whether he played for X or UC, this decision seems utterly ridiculous.
