Not a coach looking for a final payday a la Bob Knight at Texas Tech, but someone like John Thompson III, for example, who one would suspect would love to get back into the Big East, and could potentially seek to remain for the duration.
WTF, why John Thompson III? Terrible idea, Georgetown slowly eroded over the course of time under his watch, don't want him. Steele, Kelsey, Miller all reasonable options in my view. Miller would truly be my first option, but I realize that the administration would likely shy away given the current cloud over him.

the coach X needs must be able to bring in the players that will take the next step. I want to see the 4-5 stars and the coachable 2-3 stars with up side. I want to see the diamond in the rough and the underrated players that have high motor and good IQ. I want the coach to be able to teach Xs and Os and translate that into game time play. I want the coach to bring in a staff that is hungry and aggressive to recruit and teach Chris did that even though some here believe he didn't. I think Steele has some of these traits and would make him my #1, I would not discount Miller but that would be a tough sell at this time. Hurley would have been a good one but that ship has sailed. I would take a flier after searching the marketplace on a guy like Posey(he has coaching experience even though it is only in the pros). I know I am asking for someone that may not exist but that it the goal I expect GC to try and meet and not just pick someone to fill the position. Christopher should know that his job is going to get hot if he fails to advance the program. as much as I liked Kelsey I think he would be way down my list and would not equate as success for Christopher, in my thinking.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

That ain't happening. If he was going to flee Az, he'd likely ended up at PItt.
Pitt hired Capel
I heard one reason Miller issued the statment that he wasn't interested in PITT is that PITT wasn't interested in him.I think he's a great coach but the black cloud over him right now makes him untouchable
