Muskieman, I asked specifically who will cover Xavier Basketball and got the short answer that I posted. Looking at the other posts regarding this topic, he has gotten plenty of blowback and it doesn't appear he has a full time person covering Xavier. For me it is a mute point as I canceled my subscription months ago when they couldn't even deliver my paper on a regular basis.

I learn much more on this site then I do in the print media.

If today's "story" in the Enquirer about Maui in 20178 is any indication, Xavier will not have a dedicated sports writer on the Enquirer's staff. That piece was done by Dave Clark, "sports optimizer" at the Enquirer.

I also just e-mailed the Enquirer. It really is a sad day when a seasoned professional like Shannon is told to hit the road. I mentioned in my e-mail that they'll likely go to an inexperienced person right out of school to cover X. What a short-sighted, stupid move. I feel bad for Shannon; I know first hand what it's like to lose a position at a newspaper. No wonder people have stopped buying and reading papers.
