Without a doubt.
If he had made one more 3, he would have tied his career high in points and made 3's.
Helluva shooting game.

X had it all the way. SH might have scored 65 but X scored 57 in second half which is not too shabby. Next time X will be ready for M
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

They tried to send you into cardiac arrest .Got a little too close for my comfort .Not a lot of D in that second half but we have a lot of offensive weapons.I'd love to see how we'd do against Va.

Kanter didn't do much against them at SH.Not worried about him.Gates has really hit a funk here lately. He needs to hit a few 3's to get his confidence going again.mumuskie87 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 11:42 pmNo. KG did make a couple of FT's late in the game.

Not overly concerned with the 2nd half sloppy play last night. These are kids at heart and normal for guys this age getting a bit bored after halftime and turning their collective consciousness to the big Sat date with that evil empire from Philly. You hate to see it happen - and wish Mack could prevent it, but human nature takes over. X looked sharp in the 1st half which was great to see as SH did need that game badly. So, now we are "on to Nova" officially... Kanter was off last night but I am not worried about him all that much. Naji continues to come on strong although a couple of times each game he will make one too many blind spin moves attacking the rim and loses the ball. I can deal with that from this talented Frosh. Scruggs - no worries there - love his progress. JP, a couple more dumb telegraphed passes, which irks me from a Senior but a decent game. Sean, solid. T-Jones, got to knock some rust off which was terrific. Tre was God-like. Q - just another solid game and continues to show his recent increased 3 % is not a fluke.
That brings us to the Kaiser...............................................
WTF Gates..?? I will tell you this, he makes or breaks us as a legit Final Four contender. (or for beating Nova Saturday for that matter)
There is simply no way, not even for Virginia, to throttle X if Gates can hit at about 35% from the arc. He is too tall, (except for the freakish Sanogo) & has a quick release. With our post offensive threats, slashing guards that can also shoot it better, plus JP and Tre, opposing D's must sag off Kaiser a bit. X's run late last year coincided with Kaiser coming out of his long slump. So here he goes yet again.
I'm sure he is trying, and I like the kid, but come on KG.
OK, I am done ranting. We are just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking close to clicking on all cylinders. The kind of cylinders normally reserved for NC or Duke or Kans-ass in their peak seasons. We are so close I can taste it... Can't wait for Saturday.

Seton Hall is easily the worst defensive team i've seen in some years in div. 1.

Kaiser doesn’t really have a quick release, thus the blocked three last night. And I wonder why he takes so many 30 footers and half court threes in the pre game. Maybe that’s why he’s not totally sharp from normal range. Agree we need him to break from slump. But at the same time Naji offers things KG doesn’t offensively. Naji is stealing more mins each game from KG

If X get's everyone on the same page and get's hot there is no stopping them, my opinion. I see glimpses of championship type teams with Senior lead but Freshmen close behind or silent stars. If the bench continues to be solid on O and X can find some more D we might have a new banner in the Cintas next year they X has never hung.
