Just had to say we went! Not only did we go, what with getting a little late start and the weather slowing us down I had them pull off at the lateral and we headed over to Quatman's and all three of us had the cheesburger special and a Hudy draft! They loved it. I know there were a bunch of XU fans in there but didn't know them but if you are reading this we were the older guy (me) and woman (sister) and younger guy (nephew/son) out towards the bar. I heard mention from somebody about "when they were out at URI ..." and the name Lew Hirt seemed to pop up from time to time!
Got to the game fine, and happily ran into MM in the concourse and had a really nice chat. Of course the game goes without saying ... a treat! The trip home we would like to forget. We were in that stalemate on I-71 and it took us 1 and 1/2 hours to get to King's Island. A trip that on a good day would take us 3 hours at most took 6 and I hit the sack at 3:00 a.m. Shame on all you locals who did not make the trek.
