My point might be better understood if I reduce it to two lines:

I enjoy the balance that results from most posters, some of who are too optimistic and some who are overly negative.

I don't think we should bash any geniune posters (feel free to rip on UD fans and trolls) because this board is losing too many members to that other site as is.
