I'll be down at BWW if I can ever get out of the office today, me and my girlfriend are driving down from Raleigh, about 2hr drive. I just moved down middle of last year, and they do talk a lot of basketball down here. Wish I could here more Xavier, but it is interesting watching us play and then watching some of the ACC teams. One thing I've noticed with the ACC this year is that they don't really feel like playing D most of the time. Even Duke, who forces a lot of turnovers, looks like a sieve inside. I hope its a good atmosphere tonight.

The jury is NOT out on Marquette! They aren't that good. Case closed!

bourbonman, I was being charitable with Marquette (and Pitt too). I won't argue your point in the least. However you might consider changing your tag line "It's time for a Woodford Reserve on the rocks".

Xavier always goes to the NCAA tournament, and almost always makes some noise while there. Projecting anything less than that this season feels like folly--Eamonn Brennan (ESPN Summer Shootaround, 2012)

Booker's, Baker's and the Knob
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Booker's, Knob, Basil Hayden, and even Maker's Mark will fill the bill. In fact now that I think of it, I am an Ambassador for Maker's Mark. My name is on two different barrels aging into brown splendor even as we speak. I highly recommend a visit to Loretto, KY, for anyone in the vicinity of Louisville.
