four point play by SC and 1 point lead by X. 16 seconds I can't believe how sloppy X has played with little energy.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

only one word UNGLY, but I will take the win, and thanks for the 6 foul shots made at the end of the game Green and McKnight

Well we hit our foul shots down the stretch. Right now we are in a lot of trouble. South Carolina State just lost to Marshall by 29. We need a heck off a lot more from Conwell, Foster and Swain to compete in the Big East. Looking like we could be in for a long season.

What a mess. Sean has a lot of work to do. These guys are not ready. After all that fouling which I agreed with they still got off a good shot to tie. We need to work on getting the ball inbounds against pressure. I know Maddox is in the dog house but we need his scoring. Conwell had a poor game. We need scorers. I do not know what we can do about muscle upfront but I do know Hugely is not big east ready.

Looks like Maddox's 41seconds and one TO stat is telling

SM putting on a master class this year of how to underwhelm with really good talent, though admittedly awkward pieces. However, he's the one who picked the pieces, sooooo. He is continuing his tradition of underutilizing players who were good in high school (Craft, Green, Djoko) or college (Maddox). Thank God he didn't pull Swain after another 3+ turnover game, or Foster, after he took a really, dumb quick three late in the game up 3, early in the shot clock. Hey, at least Hugley played about 8 minutes with zero points again.

His penchant for letting big runs (13-0), tonight, by a bottom feeder, w/o trying something different was rich as well. Masterclass indeed.

I also seem to remember last year with Olivari's somewhat pedestrian start. He played about 28-30 min a game and averaged 12 points. He was nothing special until the 8th game or so. However, Miller stuck with him. What a concept! His stats were not as good as Maddox before coming to X, and he played in an inferior league, as did Boum. I think Maddox had 16 points in one game, in about 16 minutes, or 12-15 min less than Boum and Olivari averaged. I suspect there ain't a picture of Miller next to the word consistency in the dictionary.

I agree with you AH. Unfortunately, Michigan provided the solution for beating Xavier pressure defense on the perimeter along with some zone defense and more pressure. Add a non-existent inside presence (besides Free) and we are on the outside looking in on the tourney. Giving up on Lazar and even Obu for Hughley is a big mistake. He has stripped all of Maddox's confidence and we will need his scoring. Not sure why Maddox was brought in when you have Green already, but I bought into the hype again. Same hype I bought into with Swain.
