Left him wide open for that last shot. The Euros have only three points.

I am so confused about the comments about not defending the post. The issue is Xavier doesn't defend the perimeter and guys are attacking the rim at will game after game. Combined with guys cutting to the rim and getting passes at the rim for easy lay-ins. The post defenders are somewhat solid. They don't rotate well but they defend their guy reasonably well.

X deserves to be down at half. Once again sloppy turnovers but this time the defense does deserve some credit unlike prior games. Wrong people shooting from deep way too often. Obviously the defensive issues mentioned above.

How was that not a charge late in the half? That is a huge swing in the game so close to half.

Why can't Claude stop shooting 3s?

Ousmane cannot handle the Big East

Ciani showed he is not ready to play. He opted to get creative under the rim instead of taking it strong. St John's has a legit shot blocker but if you are a big and have the rim in your sights, you attack the rim and force the foul if he challenges you. Taking it under the rim says you are soft/scared. Under the rim is smart for guards and from certain angles of attack but he was already at the rim. That is when you flush it.

Perimeter was dreadful in the first half and our offense is non existent. Besides Caude and Olivari I just don't think we have the talent or toughness to compete in BE. I've never seen bigs with worse hands than the Euro's and Oushman. If Oushman can't play well in his his home town than we are in trouble. Swain is not big enough to play 3. Miller looks perplexed.

It looked like the freshman team vs the varsity. Swain, Green and Djokovic are not physically ready for the Big East. I think Green is about 155 lb's, Swain is about 180lb's. All three of them get run over and thrown around. The Big's can't finish. We have a serious talent problem in the front court. St. John's is a average team at best. We made Soriano LOOK SPECIAL. Hard to imagine this team turning things around. We have to be patient but we have a long way to go to even be average. Claude had a very good game otherwise we lose by 30. Wins on the road are going to be very hard to come by. Tough night for the guys.

Well, Xavier is in the cellar along with Marquette and UConn. The Bif East is tough, and the road not be a friend

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.
